Description

Increase biodiversity and contribute to healthy streams in the City of Dublin!

Volunteers will be serving along a portion of Billingsley Creek / Wright's Run located in the historic Ferris-Wright Parks & Earthworks. This stream flows into the Scioto River.

Over the past few years, volunteers removed a section of invasive honeysuckle from the streambank. The area is ready for replanting with species of plants native to Ohio. These plants will reduce erosion, provide food and habitat to wildlife and increase plant biodiversity.

Volunteers at this project will assist our horticulture team in planting natives and continue to remove invasive honeysuckle from the streambank.
