Be part of a team handling one of our large helium balloons!
You'll be working the ropes of a large helium balloon alongside a team of volunteers. We'll train you before the parade and have you practice with your group. This role requires the ability to work with a team, quickly learn and follow instructions throughout your shift and strong attention to safety. Volunteers will be pulling on ropes while walking the parade route, requiring a level of coordination and upper body strength.
You are the grand finale, the final balloon of the parade! If you select this role, please be patient as you wait for the rest of the parade to depart the balloon lot and dress extra warm. You will still be needed at 9:45am to help us secure the balloon and to rehearse with the pilot.
