2026 Independence Day Celebration

Join us for a Full Day of Celebrations!

Volunteers are needed to help with the morning fishing derby, carrying parade balloons, scanning tickets for the concert & fireworks show and much more!

Prior to the event, volunteers will be given a t-shirt as their uniform and asked to wear khaki shorts/pants for a uniform look at the event.
Volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes and are HIGHLY recommended to wear sunscreen, hats, etc.
There ARE roles for youth and teens at this event, please pay close attention to each role description to ensure you qualify before signing up.

Volunteers Ages 18+ ONLY
If driving to this event, please park in the Sells Middle School parking lot.
Welcome and assist parade viewers who may need an accessible area to view the parade, seats are available under a shaded structure
Volunteers may need to assist with setting up additional chairs.
Volunteers will count attendees using the space

	Inclement Weather Plan: In case of dangerous weather or any circumstance that may affect the event, call the Volunteer Information Line at 614-410-4753 before leaving the house. Information will be updated continuously throughout the day.
