Celebrate Earth Month through volunteerism!
Join the Earth Day / Arbor Day festivities by cleaning up litter in Amberleigh Park. Trash that is not properly disposed of can be ingested by wildlife, cause birds and other animals to become entangled, blow into our waterways and generally become a nuisance in our parks. You can help us by participating in a litter cleanup of Amberleigh Park!
This project is great for:
- Adults, teens ages 14 and up or youth with a registered parent or guardian.
Project Details:
Check in at the pavilion. You'll pick up your cleanup supplies and be placed with a team of other volunteers. Your group may walk the greenspace, playground or the wooded areas of the park, respecting private property. Sort recyclable items into clear bags and other trash into black bags. Return to the pavilion at the end of your shift.
