Make a difference at Amberleigh Park by helping our Horticulture staff remove invasive plants!
Invasive plants are not native to our area and crowd out native plant species. This reduces the biodiversity in our natural areas and reduces food sources for local wildlife.
The area you help clear will be maintained by staff and then replanted with beneficial plants over time. This is a win for plants, wildlife and the Dublin community!
This project is suited for volunteers who are:
- At least 16 years old or 13 and up with a parent also registered as a volunteer
- Comfortable walking on unpaved trails and uneven ground
- Able to safely and responsibly use provided equipment, such as hacksaws and loppers
Project Details:
