Be a Helper on Election Day!
Election Day is coming up, and it takes kind and caring people to help make it a success—both voters and the hardworking poll workers who make everything run smoothly!
Join us on Sunday, Nov. 2 for a fun and meaningful event where we’ll learn why voting is important, decorate cookies, and make special snack packs and kindness cards for our local poll workers. These snack packs will be delivered by you on Election Day as a simple, nonpartisan way to say "thank you" to the amazing teens and adults helping at the poll.
This event is part of our Kids In Dublin Service (K.I.D.S.) program, open to children in grades K–5 who live in the City of Dublin or the Dublin City School District.
To join, please make sure you're able to take your child to a voting location in Dublin on Tuesday, Nov. 4, during voting hours, to drop off the snack pack they made for poll workers.
A few reminders:
· This is a nonpartisan event—we're here to show kindness and gratitude, not to support specific candidates or issues.
· Please avoid political clothing or campaigning of any kind.
· Parents and guardians, thank you for helping your kids model kindness and respectful community service!
Let’s come together to make Election Day a little brighter for our community helpers!
To Register
- Registration must be under the CHILD'S volunteer account, not the parental account.
- You must individually register each child participating to ensure each child has a spot in this opportunity.
- Adults do not need to register, but each child is expected to have their parent or guardian in attendance at the program and willing to participate as needed.
- While not required, if you add a photo on your child's volunteer account, we may be able to add a fun, surprise component to this project!
