Dublin youth ages 11 - 14 are invited to join us for a day of service and learning surrounding civic and community engagement. This project will get your child's creativity flowing while learning all about Public Service in their City! This project will feature a brief overview of the  City's Sustainability efforts and how you, as residents, can get involved at home. Volunteers will also support the Dublin Giving Garden by making new plant markers and assist our streets team with refreshing the sandwich boards for park signage ahead of the Dublin Irish Festival!

What to expect:

  • Assist with the compost program in the Service Center
  • Create a flyer to take home to share with neighbors on how they can be more sustainable and participate in the City's Sustainability efforts
  • Help to re-fresh (paint) the City's sandwich board, which display signage City wide during summer events and beyond
  • Make new plant markers for the Giving Garden

Qualifications:

  • Volunteers MUST be ages 11 - 14
  • Volunteers MUST be City of Dublin residents or Dublin City School District residents
  • Check in at the City of Dublin Service Center
