2025 Independence Day Celebration

Join us for a Full Day of Celebrations!

Volunteers are needed to help with the morning fishing derby, carrying parade balloons, scanning tickets for the concert & fireworks show and much more!

Prior to the event, volunteers will be given a t-shirt as their uniform and asked to wear khaki shorts/pants for a uniform look at the event.
Volunteers are required to wear closed-toed shoes and are HIGHLY recommended to wear sunscreen, hats, etc.
There ARE roles for youth and teens at this event, please pay close attention to each role description to ensure you qualify before signing up.

Proudly carry a banner for our 2025 Grand Marshall: Bonnie Gamary!

Ages 14 + or 12+ with a parent
Must be able to walk the one mile parade route (plus one additional mile if walking back to the volunteer lot)
Must be ready to smile and be engaging with the crowd
Able to carry one side of the banner throughout the entire parade route.

	Inclement Weather Plan: In case of dangerous weather or any circumstance that may affect the event, call the Volunteer Information Line at 614-410-4753 before leaving the house. Information will be updated continuously throughout the day.
	Youth under 14 years old must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian.
	Bring Sturdy, Comfortable gloves
