The Dublin Irish Festival, in its 38th year, welcomes nearly 100,000 guests to Coffman Park for a weekend filled with Irish culture & community spirit!
Below are a few details to note & tips for scheduling volunteer shifts:
The success of the Dublin Irish Festival depends on nearly 1,200 dedicated volunteers and we always welcome new volunteers who are hard-working, flexible and know how to have FUN
- Each volunteer must register individually for their shift. If you need help scheduling a group of volunteers, please contact us at volunteer@dublin.oh.us.
- Are you a night owl? We especially need volunteers willing to work Friday and Saturday late nights from 8pm-midnight
- A background check is required for all adult volunteers (and every five years thereafter), we will email you a link after you register to volunteer if you are need of a background check
- All volunteers receive a DIF shirt to identify them as a volunteer during their shift
- All volunteers receive reserved parking and shuttle service on the day of their volunteer service only
- Volunteers also receive a complimentary ticket to attend the Festival on a day they are not volunteering as a thank you for their time
- You will note some shifts require ADULTS only or may have other age requirements due to the nature of the assignment. If you have a child under the age of 14 who would like to volunteer alongside you, please reach out to volunteer@dublin.oh.us and we will work with you to ensure a great assignment match is made
- Teens ages 14 and up are welcome to volunteer without a parent. Some great assignments for this age group are: Bike Parking, Admission Gates, Sustainability, and Wee Folk Crafts
- If you are unsure which assignment you should choose, please reach out to volunteer@dublin.oh.us and we will work with you to ensure a great match is made
- Volunteers are encouraged to attend a kickoff & training celebration on Saturday, July 26 at Coffman Park Pavilion
