Giveaway/Sponsor Table:

Assist with handing out giveaways at the sponsor table and keeping the table stocked with giveaway item

Help with wayfinding at the kick-off event as volunteers may need assistance in finding their break-out sessions, t-shirt/packet pick up area, food, etc.

All are required to watch the training video. If you are asked to drive a golf cart, you will need to provide a current driver's license.

·  Some Corner Marshals are assigned as Water Station Attendants. Before the race, a table with hundreds of cups will be at the station. When water is delivered, volunteers need to fill as many cups as possible on the table. Once runners approach, some volunteers may stand with cups in hand to hand off, or runners may grab from the table. Keep the cups pushed toward the edge so runners don't have to expend too much time getting a cup.

The Hospitality area at the Dublin Irish Festival serves food to Festival vendors, musicians and staff. Volunteers assist with preparing food, cooking and serving.

From prepping, cooking to plating food, you will do it all in the kitchen! Meat is served in some dishes. Closed toed shoes are required!Must be 14 years old or with a parent/older sibling

OPENING & CLOSING SHIFT NOTES: please be aware that you will be assisting with opening the sides of the tent as well as closing them as the Defenders Den has separate hours from general Festival hours.

Floaters are "anchored" in Volunteer Headquarters during the event. When shortages of volunteers are called in from Festival grounds, we dispatch the Floater into action. Floaters should be flexible and have the ability to learn quickly. Assignments may range from helping at an Admission Gate, Ticket Sales or delivering Pop, Water and Ice.

Welcome credentialed guests to the Hospitality area. Check to make sure those entering have the correct credentials to enter.Indoor and seated position.

Perfect for volunteers passionate about waste diversion! Help with sorting operations by going through bags of materials generated at the event and sorting recyclable/compostable items from the waste stream. A company (ZWEP) will provide gloves, hand sanitizer, aprons and other supplies needed for sorting activities. Please wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes are a must!

Volunteers will help youth participants try out Highland Game athletic events including: caber toss, stone put, hammer throw, weight throw, weight over bar, and sheaf toss. Volunteers will help retrieve equipment, keep area tidy and assist staff with other duties as they arise. Ages 16+ Closed toed shoes required.
